About Omisona

My name is Omisona Fasina, pronounced (Oh-me- showna Fa-sheena), it is a unique name and means ‘water is the way’ or ‘water opens the way’. I was born and bred in Birmingham of parents from St Kitts.

I am a mother of 2, both of whom I love and are very proud of.

My work began in the NHS as a nurse, midwife and more recently as a therapist, qualifying in all three. I trained and qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) at Coventry University and now work as an accredited therapist. I can be found on The BABCP website.

I am passionate about working with people to help them become the best that they want to be, and assist in overcoming any obstacles which may be holding them back.

As well as CBT, I infuse my work with other modes of therapy; Acceptance & Commitment, Mindfulness and Compassion focused therapy. I support my clients to work with their obstacles, and discover ways of thinking that are more helpful to them to live their lives.

Sessions are on a 1:1 basis and held in a private therapy room.
